My name is Sammi Taylor. I am originally from DeRidder, La. I am pursuing my second Bachelor's degree in Health Education from South Alabama. I already have a Bachelor's in Sports Medicine from University of Louisiana-Lafayette. I have a Master's degree in Education with a concentration in Exercise Science from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. I am second of four siblings. I have an older sister Leisa, and two younger brothers, Derrick and Landon. What is unique about us is that we are all spaced out. My sister and I are ten years apart. My sister and brother Derrick are sixteen years about making us six years about. My youngest brother and I are nineteen years apart.

I am a certifed Athletic trainer. I have been practicing Athletic training for ten years. I have worked with high school sports for the entire ten years. I love my job and I love helping student-athletes achieve their dream of playing in college one day.

I want to enter the field of education because I have love teaching every since I was a child. I love being around children and I love to learn for myself different things. I want to promote learning and develop dreams in my students. I want to encourage my students that they have the power and determination to achieve every goal they set for themselves. I want to teach not just classroom lessons but life lessons. I want them to make their life better than their parents's life was and their precdecessors. In the 21st century, teachers will constantly have to find ways to keep students focused and interested in learning. I believe each generation will need more stimulus than the previous generation.

My Passions are:

I like to spend time with my family, hangout with friends, and watch any sporting event. My favorite hobby is doing 1000 piece puzzle. I want to get better at being a more open-book person. I am such a giver but when it comes to emotions, I keep them inside. I believe being a giver is my best quality. I want continue to be a good person and become a blessing to others.
